Desert View RV Resort, nestled near Needles, CA, is a charming spot for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. This place has a lot going for it, starting with the privacy and shade provided by tall oleander shrubs between sites. These bushes not only offer a bit of seclusion but also some much-needed relief from the desert sun.

The campground features spacious pull-through sites, each with a concrete patio, making it easy to set up and relax. Visitors have praised the cleanliness and friendliness of the park, noting the well-maintained amenities like the swimming pool, which is a godsend on those scorching desert days. The park also offers full hook-ups, including water, sewer, and electric, which is essential when the temperatures soar above 100 degrees.

One of the standout aspects of Desert View RV Resort is its proximity to Route 66, adding a touch of nostalgia to your stay. Plus, there's cheap gas and an RV self-wash station just across the border, making it convenient for travelers. If you're looking for a bite to eat, there's a great restaurant nearby called the Wagon Wheel.

The park is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends along. And while the internet might be just fair and cable can be hit or miss, the overall experience here is positive. The quiet atmosphere, especially in the back rows away from the road noise, makes for a peaceful retreat. So, if you're passing through or planning a longer stay, Desert View RV Resort is a solid choice.
