North Abutment Campground is located on the north end of Grenada Dam on Grenada Lake. The campground is an excellent destination for boating and fishing. The region is steeped in history, with an array of civil war landmarks. In summer, Grenada Lake is home to the annual Thunder on Water Safe Boating Festival. Grenada Lake is on the Yalobusha and Skuna Rivers in Mississippi. The man-made lake has about 148 miles of shoreline and holds 35,820 acres of water.
