A good one night stay
A pretty good campground, clean with clean Porta potty toilets, water at the campground, but not at campsites, electric and non-electric the drive to get here though is amazing

The campground is fairly small. They installed one bear box for all on our loop to share. We just kept everything in the car. When we got here, the host stopped by and introduced himself. Said there is a black bear frequenting the campground and we should not leave anything that smells out. The sites are wooded, but fairly close together. Not a whole lot of privacy. Lots of generators running. I never did figure out where we were supposed to dump our wash basins.. the sites along the woods kind of made it akward to go out there and spread it. There weren't any marked drains or anything.
The squirrles here are endlessly entertaining. There were even a robin and squirrel playing? Or maybe the squirrel was causing trouble. See video. You can walk to the small, damned lake and explore. We did nearby Black Mountain Lookout trail and it was amazing.

The pit toilet is very clean. While closed for season the amenities are closed the campground remains open. It runs on a Pack it in, Pack it out. Beautiful pine forest with amazing mountains for the backdrop.

Only area open was non electric sites. Closed down for season but still has access to sites and vault toilets. -fairly level site, with grill and fire pit. -lots of pine trees.and squirrels to torment the dogs -lake very close Stocked with many kinds of trout. Didn’t fish but many people were fishing. -seemed to be used by hunters while we’re were there. -I walked through the sites that had electric and they seemed pretty large and spaced really nicely. Not to crowded together -lots of hiking area. -no fee since no services
Sibley lake is very calm and peaceful. perfect for a kayak, floating around on a tube and fishing. nice spacious area.
