This area is basically open camping in a meadow. There are no fire rings or designated camping areas. Vault toilets available but that is it. A short drive from Laramie and the highway this is a prime spot if you are camping on a long road trip and just need a place to crash. It was very cold while we were there and many fisherman came before Dawn to get out on the lake.
