We showed up late and drove around a little, we had to be careful as it had just rained and we only have front wheel drive. Someone mentioned driving up towards sites 7-27 and we already had a bad experience at shadow mountain that day, so we parked up front by the bathroom where there were quite a few other rvs and car campers in close proximity, however it was late and found a van/tent site for the night, we had a few friends with 4wheel drive that found a spot up towards 7-27. The views at the bottom are spectacular however there are way too many people and some of them were a little too in our space. The next day we tried going higher a little earlier, and found a great private spot up higher, our front wheel drive car handled it very well. We did have an unfortunate event later that night in which a disrespectful couple crashed our campsite, woke us up and set up camp displaying poor etiquette. It was upsetting, we shared our concerns with the visitors and thankfully they left after awhile, it was a small blemish on an otherwise wonderful experience, would camp here again!
