Pats Point Campground — Keyhole State Park

Convenient campground south of Devil's Tower, nice water.

We stayed here for 2 nights at Pat's Point, nicely located south of Devil's Tower.  We had a primitive site (no hook-ups, vault toilets).  Sites are fairly private and well spaced, and we had our own beach area.  Being on the water was great for kayaking etc.  There is a beach playground across the water at one of the other campgrounds which we didn't check out, but it sounded like the kids there were having fun.  Four stars because our site happened to be literally on a giant ant hill, and there were LOTs of other bugs of all kinds (flies, moths, spiders etc).  Of course when camping you expect bugs, but this was just more than usual.  It may have just been our site.
