Everything was very clean and even with the campground full it was nice and quiet. The spots are beautiful and shaded. Rain does cause many of the spots to flood.
Very nice and and quite! Bathroom only has cold water but shower house has nice hot water. We are here on a Monday and it made us pay for 2 nights so that’s my biggest complaint but this is a very secluded and clean park so I’d stay here again!
We stayed in the primitive area which wasn't crowded at all just after labor day. The sites were nice and wooded with lots of privacy. It rained most of the time we were there so we didn't get to explore much. Tried to walk down to the lake from our site, but just got to the top of the cliffs on the lake.
The automated pay system insisted we pay for 2 nights since they considered Thursday to be a weekend night. This is just silly. Thursday is NOT a weekend night.
We only spent one night due to the rain.
We rolled in just after Labor Day so things were quiet….lots of space. Beautiful wooded areas, beach access, bike trails, quiet, and abundant toilet facilities and laundry.
We were tent camping and stayed on a rustic site. Although we were 205 and it was fine, I would choose 212 and that area next time. $22 night for a rustic site; $34 for reserved with hook-ups. Plenty of clean shower and bathroom facilities and nice laundry
We visited Bay beach in Green Bay and then wanted to spend the night near Green Bay in our 35’ class A. Not making reservations in Wisconsin during the summer is risky but fell upon this beautiful 50% first come county campground that is well kept. Both 50 and 30 amp service with hiking, biking, gardens and more.
Bay Shore Park was an ok campground. The scenery and Bay were very nice.
The electric and water hookups were on opposite sides of the site, and we had to keep adjusting the travel trailer to get both to actually hook up.
The ground was a sandy-dirt, which wasn't too bad at first, but after an overnight rain it was a muddy mess.
9/23/20- 9/25/20; $30/night; #86 electric & water
Nice park. Will go again hopefully when weather is warmer.
This Campground is on the Niagara escarpment and the best site is number 21. They have nice black top drives to park on nice large grills water and electric on every site and right on the Bay. The Beatles rocky but very nice sunset views
The tent sites are a great size and semi private (you can have a conversation and not be heard at other sites). The bathroom and showers are decent and cleaned daily around 6 am. There are reservable and walk-in sites. The sites also have extra parking across from them.
There is a lot to do for kids a great play area, swimming, fishing, boating etc. There are hiking trails but not a lot.
The couple I went with had issues with the site next to them ( loud inappropriate language and using drugs) the rangers responded quickly and efficiently!
I have been there summer and late spring.
This is a great spot for kids..although there isnt swimming there are 2 playgrounds and lots of space to play frisbee or run around. We habe a great yime every time we go!
Spent a great night with my son and our dog. Staff delivered fire directly to our site. Watching lightning storms approach from over the lake was exhilarating .
