Oct. 13th, 2021, Chestnut Creek campground is hosting a fundraiser for an injured friend with a band playing on their newly built stage. arts and crafts vendors, fire roasted corn & food vendors. the grassy Hill creates a perfect amphitheater. I'm hiking New River Gorge but may stay through Wednesday just to catch this venue and support this amazing family and family friendly campground with a homestead feal. It is rustic so bring what you need and I suggest towel hooks to hang over bathroom stall for changing, but there is a nice long bench and great big showers. Feels like camp! ran into Seth this morning and they have all the stuff to set up disc golf too. this is my new favorite!
