Whistlers Campground

Decent spot to camp in Jasper national park. There are plumbed toilets and showers for along with dish washing stations. They are very well maintained. This particular spot is close to town and a ton of trailheads. While affordable ($49 CAD/ $35 USD) they are small, the park also suffered a wildfire in 2024 so there is next to no shade on any of these spots. You are in close proximity to your neighbors. If you want to be in the park and near trails without paying usurious bungalow or hotel prices this is a the spot for you. If you want wide open spaces and a feeling of being remote, check out some of the first come first served sites along the Icefields Parkway
