We loved our time at Sol Duc but we were disappointed that there were no showers. You can use the showers at the lodge but you have to pay $15 as this also gives you entrance to the hot springs. This wasn't ideal as we did not have time to use the hot springs so it seemed a bit expensive to spend $30 on two showers. The campsite itself was beautifully maintained and was beautiful in amongst all the forest trees. We would highly recommend watching the salmon running up the river in the salmon cascades which is only a few miles from the campsite. Probably wouldn't visit again but only because of the no showers. If we'd known before we went, we would have tried to stay somewhere else.
