I went here mid summer 2021, we actually left just a day in because the mosquitos were so bad. We went up the hill to the free walk in sites because the designated campsite was all full. It was pretty and secluded, but there was no table and no water. I think I'd like to come back in the fall to avoid the mosquitos. The lake was very nice, clear blue, as we drove out, the water was chilly but not too bad, and the weather was nice and sunny. I am hoping to try out the real campsite, maybe there will be fewer bugs!
