Two Nights at Jones Bay

This is a wonderful campground to stay at if you’re interesting in hiking Steamboat Rock or Northrup Canyon! Beautiful views of the buttes and rock formations surround you, no matter what spot you pick in the campground. These are primitive sights, meaning there is no running water anywhere, and no where to dispose of trash, so please don’t leave it where you stayed! Although there are only pit toilets, they’re very clean and well maintained. We got lucky when we stayed, as they had just sprayed for mosquitoes, but I’ve heard they are ruthless at other times!!
