Beautiful forest with views overlooking the lake and far-off snowy mountain peaks. Really exceptional beauty here. Campsites are all tents and all walk-to along a hill (sites are flat though) and there are pit toilets but no drinking water. This is in the middle of nowhere in a good way! We were hiking nearby, including a few miles on the Pacific Crest Trail, but the main attraction at this campground is the fishing. Make reservations if you can!
