Chatter Creek campground is past Eight Mile but not as far down Icicle Creek Road as Ida Creek so it's a nice spot to get away without spending half an hour on a gravel road.

This is a smaller campground with 12 sites and no advance reservations so arrive early if your heart is set on staying here. Otherwise there are several more campgrounds down the same road.

While you have great access to the Chatter Creek and across the forest road to Icicle Creek there aren't actually any waterfront sites.
