A forest service campground gem

This is the first forest service campground I have stayed at that I truly enjoyed. We stayed mid week in August and were literally the only campers in the park. For spacing I didn’t think it was bad compared to some of the Washington state parks but it was a little hard to fully grasp since no one was there. The bathrooms have one flush and several pit toilets and no showers. The pit toilets were well maintained and not gross. The sites have a table and a fire pit and you can purchase wood from the host. We enjoyed the close proximity to the river and the availability to drive to anywhere in the gorge. This campground would be great for family’s to explore.
