We imagine this is a busy place in the summer, but we enjoyed a quiet camp spot for the night. Paid $55 for the spot with electric hookup for our van, and extra vehicle. Very spacious site. Several other rv campers, but all were quiet and respectful.
They have several back-in spots, some with partial hookups and some with full hookups. Most of the spots are well-shaded from the trees. A specific area is designated for tents only, and some cabins can also be rented. It was a 5-minute walk downhill to reach the lake, which had a very long and nice boat ramp deep enough to accommodate just about any boat. Regarding cell service, I got 3 bars of LTE with my iPhone. Overall, it was a nice, quiet, shady place to visit, and I will definitely be back.
This park is huge! Lots of space to hand out and swim. There’s always kids running around so it is great for young ones. Bathrooms were clean and big.
Loved this place! We were lucky to nearly have the entire camp site to ourselves. Quiet and serene place to stay. Set up was easy and quick. Highly recommend.
I believe this campground is under new ownership. You can see they’ve been putting a lot of work into it. Paving roads, landscaping, etc. Looks great and well maintained. RV spots are gravel pads and had water and electric, some had full hook up too. Some spots are better suited for larger rigs (ours was a little tight) but we were only doing a one night stop. Nice grassy spaces and a grassy community area with horseshoe pits. Lake access down by the tent sites. Very quiet and peaceful. Helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely return and recommend.
Well-kept campground. Friendly owners/managers. Nice grass areas and playground. Quiet and relaxing. Would have given five stars but spots were a bit tight.
A little hard to find but we figured it out without too much difficulty. There’s little to no cell service. We went in the late summer so the river was extremely low making the walk to get the the water very long and a little precarious. It was still very pretty and the air quality was the best in the state in August.
