Arrived here on a Sunday afternoon and was empty, with a few cars that appeared to have been left. Odd vibe! All the spots looked great however, just felt a bit unloved and off the beaten track. It was shrouded by trees but the sites themselves weren’t hidden from eachother.

My friend and I were hiking a bunch of places in the Mt. Margaret Backcountry area and weren’t equipped on this trip for dispersed camping, so this place was great. Really short drive from a bunch of nearby trails. Plenty of maintained camp spots. Flat ground for tents, campfire grill, picnic bench, and an outhouse.

The area in general is pretty buggy, but there’s no water in the immediate vicinity which probably helped.

Pretty quite when we camped, only 2 other spots occupied.
