We were probably the last people to get a campground in Shenandoah for Columbus Day Weekend. The leaves were changing and it was absolutely gorgeous. The campground is convenient to town with a few little shops. Make sure you visit the mill before you leave and there is a beautiful kids park in Woodstock that is perfect for killing some time with the kids. There isn’t any activities at the campground, but that was ok with us. We actually booked site 7, but we were shifted to site 13 upon check-in. You NEED site 13.
