This campground is well run and kept clean. The beaches are beautiful. The pools are fun for all ages and clean. The staff are all very helpful. We will definitely camp there again.

Cherrystone is a super fun campground for the kids. It has multiple pools, plus swimming access in the Bay, mini golf, jumping pillow, and more. We’ve always enjoyed our stays there. The biggest downfall in my opinion is that the sites are a bit small and there aren’t a lot of sites for large campers.

Cherrystone is located right on the Chesapeake Bay, which provides campers with lots of water activities (swimming, clamming, crabbing, kayaking, fishing, boating, etc). During the summer, this place is packed. They offer tent sites, partial amenity sites, pull-through, and full hookup in addition to rustic cabins and fully-equipped cottages. There are five pools (including one for adults-only), miniature golf, hayrides, playgrounds, golf cart rentals, a snack bar, a game room and an entertainment pavilion. Cons: bathrooms get a LOT of use, are pretty far from tent sites, and seem to be difficult to keep clean. Flooding is also an issue during/after a healthy rain. These cons can be forgiven after viewing one fabulous sunset, however.

I love Cherrystone. We go every September. Tons for the kids to do: crabbing and fishing from the pier (or rent a boat), jumping pillows, great pool area for the kids, mini golf and always events and activities (the last few years they have had karaoke and a DJ when we were there). Gorgeous scenery! Only negative here is that some of the facilities (bath houses and such) are hurting and need updating.

This is a great campground. It has plenty to do. It has 5 swimming pools, very clean and well maintained. It has mini golf and paddleboats. It has a great kids program with lots of activities. Amazing sunset views from the beach. Fishing, crabbing, you name it... they have it. The restaurant has the best food... everything was wonderful. We will be returning MANY TIMES!!!!

Tons of family fun! Cherrystone is located right on the Chesapeake Bay, and every site has a beautiful view. From camp fires, to crabbing and fishing, or organized gamea and entertainment... Cherrystone has it all! This is definitely a favorite of ours.

Cherrystone is the perfect family camping spot! It has stuff for all ages (from 1to 63 at least with our family!). We tent camped near the water a few years in a row and it was beautiful. There is playgrounds, pools for kids, a pool for adults only, and water play area. There is mini golf, boats, fishing and you can catch dinner right off the dock. Definitely a place to go if you like crabs. They have activities every night of the week, as well as bike rentals and golf cart rentals. We took a charted boat one day too. I thought it was such a great spot that I talked my entire family (ages 1- 63) into traveling ten hours to camp there. More than once!

Great place to camp, it has everything you could ask for. The bath houses are very well maintained. There is so much for the kids to do! Most sites are nicely wooded and it’s located in the Chesapeake Bay
