Small campground located near the shore of Lake Champlain
The campground has 47 sites, with many of them lean-tos. The restrooms are standard campground restrooms. The showers are coin-operated and there is only one shower in each restroom facility. I didn't have a problem, as most of the other campers there were in R.Vs and had their own restroom facilities.
The sites are pretty widely-spaced, but you have to work to get a little privacy. I pulled my car on one side and hung a tarp so I could have my own space. The site got a little noisy at times with the RV generators running, which is one complaint. There are rules about only running the generators one hour at a time, and not overnight, but they didn't seem to be enforced.
Also, the entire campground is open for pets. This is great if you have dogs. Not so much if you want peace and quiet without barking or yapping. It got a little old.
The best part, for me, was going to the day use area to spend the afternoon. I was there mostly by myself, there were perfect trees to hang my hammock from and a wonderful breeze and views of the lake.
I was there Thursday through Sunday. The weekend was definitely more busy, but it didn't feel crowded or busy.
