Peaceful and Cool

Makes for a much cooler place to camp rather than the Moab valley below. The road construction on weekdays made getting here a pain and since most of the sites are first-come first-serve, it would suck to drive up there and it be full. Very well maintained sites with all of the features you need, including permanent bear boxes. Plenty of trails nearby to see the La Sal Mountains and the national parks below.

Crowded

This is a scenic area and while I was driving through the loop campground I saw many mule deer. However, I chose not to stay here because the campsites were too close to each other. Instead I drove back down the main street that leads to this camp, and by about 1 or 2 miles I found a nice dispersed camp spot with a wide open view of the La Sals.
