We're in a 2WD Toyota Matrix and camped right at the bottom before the climb to the platform the GPS coordinates take you to. We likely could have made it up, but it was 10PM and we have a long way to go (Ca-->Moab and back), so didn't want to chance it. We had spinning wheels twice trying, but more determined 2WD'ers could do it. But this is a beautiful place! I'd highly recommend it for an overnight. It's really close to HWY 80, but completely quiet and isolated. Reviewers are right- wake up for sunrise if you can.
