This GS CG has 38 first come sites..no reservations. $23/11.50 senior. Host on site. Vault/flush toilets, showers (takes quarters 2.50 for 8 mins), RV dump...day use picnic area. Sites each have tables and a metal fire ring. Trash dumpster at entrance. Water hydrants scattered around. Only a short distance from FS visitor center and a paved bike path extends for miles in both directions. Hiking THs in CG. Only negatives (reason for 4 stats) are that this CG is in a canyon along a busy paved scenic hwy, so you have HWY NOISE CONSTANT and in addition there is NO OR VERY LIMITED cell signal. Bring your Starlink and find a site with open sky to the north. This CG closes in early Oct.
