I have mixed feelings on Perception Park, camping as a couple. The surroundings were nice although my spot (6) was by the main road so there was some road noise throughout the day. The spots are closer than I prefer. There is a paved trail which was nice and was hoping to fish in the river but there's only a couple good spots to be in otherwise the river was a bit too narrow. Seemed to be a lot of families there so it was kind of loud all day. If you're looking for a peaceful and quiet stay I would suggest another campground. If you're looking for a place for the family to get just far away enough from town, then this might be a good place for you. Fyi no hookups and no cell service (at&t and sprint).
