The campground was changed from individual to a group spot campground sites a few years back. Indian Creek CG is nestled in the aspens in a nice valley in the upper Joes Valley. There is running water and outhouses.

Potters ponds are a short drive and offer trout fishing. There are hiking trails; East Mountain Trail and Spoon Creek Spur Trail just north of the campground. There are plenty of opportunities to see wildlife such as deer, elk, coyotes, and we have seen black bears in the area.
