Peaceful campground among the Pine trees
We just got back from a weekend RV camping at Canyon Rim campground in Flaming Gorge UT. We absolutely LOVED it! Quite, peaceful, well maintained, new fire pits, very clean toilets. A herd of big horn sheep just meander through the site super close but they are non threatening, seem to be used to people, not bothered at all. It was so cool! Sites are well spaced and there are a few that are set back (#10) which is a GEM if you don't want to be near anyone. The Canyon rim trail runs through the CS, just jump on and its about 1 mile to the Red Canyon Visitor Center. It was closed but still gorgeous views. We had an extremely windy day and spent most of the day in the RV, kids wandered around the campsite looking for "cool rocks" which there are ALOT of! I'm guessing it gets quite windy in most areas of Flaming Gorge in general. We'd go back for sure! Temperature was really comfortable between 45 at night and 75/80 during the day.
