Breathtaking Views, peaceful setting
We love this campground and usually come at least once a year. Sites 7, 8, 9 are our favorites, and while they don't offer a ton of privacy or shade, the views and access to the cliff edge are unbeatable. There is a hiking trail that runs right along side site 9, so there can be some foot traffic close to your site, but it's not bad at all.
The bathrooms are usually very clean. We usually go before Memorial day or after Labor day so we haven't been there when a host has been there, but they do send people through to check sties, clean bathrooms and such and they are always super friendly.
There are sheep and deer that come through the campsite. As well as chipmunks and falcons to watch. You can follow the trail head to the visitors center or the other way to Greens Lake.
