We couldn’t get a spot at Capital Reef so I checked on The Dyrt and low and behold there’s a lake only an hour away. If you want peaceful and cool it’s here. If you like to fish they have 20-40lb mackinaw trout. There are several camping sites around the lake but this one in my opinion has the best views of the lake and ambiance. Others are either so filled with trees you don’t see the lake and one has barely any trees. Also, a great price for the beauty!
