This campground has the advantage of being up the canyon so you feel far away from the city, but close enough that you could go on a work night and still make it to the office the next day. Fire pits and restrooms are near campsites, but note that the gate closes late at night so expect to walk from the road if you show up too late. More of a loud, lively site than a quiet spot in the wilderness. A fun place for camping and making s'mores with friends.
