Great Basin National Park beauty
I love sites like these in our national parks! The sites are not numbered and plotted out, but campers are asked to use previously used areas in order to minimize the impact on the environment. There are picnic tables and fire rings (so it’s primitive, I guess, but not dispersed) but you are asked to keep yourself within 30 feet of them and not so far off the beaten path that things get unwieldy. The roads throughout the campground and surroundings are dirt and potholes would pose an issue if you had a low clearance vehicle. But man is it worthwhile when you can see those stars.
