Very remote, Amazing views

We ended up way out at Lower Onion Creek on a Friday night because all the campgrounds closer to Moab were full. It was pleasant surprise how great this place was! It is very quite, even with a relatively full campground. The Colorado River is nearby and there are amazing views of the Fisher Tower area. There are a few open air pit toilets available that are in well maintained.

There are no trees, it is very arid desert, but beautiful. Each camp site includes a nice picnic table and a fire ring. There is enough room to pitch 2 tents or one small camper. Several folks car camped here.

Cost is $15 a night paid at the bulletin at the campground entrance.
