I wasn’t a fan of this area despite its perks (free and close to town) lots of traffic on the road, from other campers and OHVers. It was accessible for most cars, I drive a Nissan Versa and found a spot more than a half mile from the highway. I was here on a weekend so I’m sure it was extra busy. Definitely a solid option if you’re looking for a quick place to spend the night, although you need to get there early to find a spot. They had plenty of porta-potties along the road for people to use, they were surprisingly clean I thought. I had pretty weak Verizon coverage in some spots, mostly no service though.
