Right next to Ft Hood so lots of nice military families. We went during the week but it might get pretty busy on weekends. Lots of people were fishing, we did some easy walks along the water. Great wildlife. Close to some other parks too. Didn’t hear road noise at night. Nice clean campgrounds with basic accommodations. Some sites are very private. Sites are pretty much all along the water, really nice.
