This is nature at it’s finest for sure. Family of turkey’s hangs out at the campgrounds. I get it is nature, but with little kids or dogs it is not the safest. The shower situation is SCARY!!!! They have not cleaned out the spider webs and dead bugs and crawling things from the ceiling in YEARS!!! The showers, toilets & sinks all feel disgusting and dirty. Avoid it all costs. The restaraynt on the grounds is only open Wednesday through Saturday. The grounds are mostly dirt, not much grass at all. The lake is a pretty view, but that is about it. Everything we had left these grounds disgusting and dirty. They have such an opportunity due to their location, but apparently that is not a concern at this time. Disappointed and we won’t be back.
