Only 1.5 hours outside of the DFW area, Cleburne is a great choice to get away for the weekend. It is quite busy on the weekends being so close to civilization, so make reservations in advance. I picked spot 26 in the Keyhole section of the park. When I got there I found very little level ground. The other camp spaces around had plenty, so it was just bad luck on y part. The park rangers were efficient and helpful as most tend to be. All-in-all, I can recommend camping here.
