Garner is a beautiful and happening place! The river is lovely, there are neat hikes, it’s dog friendly, there’s a general store, restaurant, and (before Covid at least) dances. The restrooms have flush toilets and showers and there is WiFi at the store. All that said, I prefer my outdoor time quiet and full of solitude, and this is not that. 😂 I most recently camped there on a Tuesday in late September, and even then, the place was absolutely packed. I love Garner for what it is, and as long as you know what you’re getting into, it’s sure to be a great time.
