Love this fun little place! It even comes with a guard dog, Big. Super friendly dude. They are just getting their campgrounds back up and going. They are making new spots and just recently opened camping again. Great place to stay. They made me feel very comfortable being a female solo camper. They were super accommodating and helped me find the perfect spot to sling up my hammock. They had a great selection of beer, food, and even homemade ice cream. Bath house was clean and fresh cold water from the tap at the bar. Big bundles of good firewood. Wifi only at the brewery area which is perfectly fine for my camping style. They even had a band Friday night. I’ll definitely be back. The only thing I found to be four star instead of five is the mosquitoes. They were BAD. I sprayed down in deet multiple times and still had at least a dozen bites. Could be from the construction of new spots and the really wet weather recently but I’d recommend bringing lots of bug repellent stuff to help. Some of the spots aren’t very private or secluded if that’s something you prefer. There is some road noise but it’s not a busy road.
