Great camping practically on the Beach
Sweet spot near Myrtle Beach, SC yet far enough away from the overwhelming commercial properties, yet so many things to do!Beautiful Marsh walk to view birds and other critters at low tide (bring tons of bug spray in the summer), beautiful flat beach (great for walks), visit Atalaya Castle, the historical home on the property, then cross the highway to Brookgreen Gardens (spectacular Christmas lights display is a MUST see during the holiday season) to enjoy the sculptures and multitudes of plants. They have plenty of other amenities including RV hookups, beach shower facilities, ADA friendly beach access, picnic tables, playground, nature center. Palm trees galore!
