Codorus

Went camping here back in 16’ with my family. Campsites were not very private at all. the campground is a far walk from the marina and the pool. Picture is at a stop in the marina area.

Clean campground with waterpark

Stayed 3 nights in June having never stayed here before. The campgrounds have a 5 person per site limit and a 10pm noise cufew. The park has a waterpark that offers a daily discount to campers. Ice and the basics are offered at a small campshed/store that uses the honor system for payment if nobody's working. We camped at site 123 and though we enjoyed ourselves the site itself sits at a bend on the loop and is squeezed for space with sites 122 and 125, I believe. The site is like a small horshoe and we could actually hear our neighbor snoring. The bathhouse & restroom wasn't to far of a walk even in the middle of the night and was kept very clean by the grounds keeprs. Showers were also clean and looked to have been freshly painted. Our site had one upside, being completely shaded.

Same old thing

Standard PA state park around a lake. A few hiking opportunities and a nice lake to fish or kayak on. The pool is decent but a bit far of a walk from the camp sites.

Love!

This park has primative camping which is nowhere near the buzz of RV sites. You have access to probably some of the nicest bathrooms I've ever experienced while camping. The sites are secluded, you can keep a car for ith you. They provide firewood if you need it. The grounds are maintained, level and grassy, so no rock piles to avoid while setting up your tent. Access to boating and trails. Love this place!

Nice park

Very nice state park. The bath house was clean. Not a lot to do at the park. The lake is beautiful and the trail around the lake is nice. Staff was friendly. A nice park to go to if you just want to rest around the camp fire.

Nice Wooded Sites and Beautiful Lake

I stayed here for 2 nights in July 2017. The site we originally picked was advertised as "partially shaded" but when we got there we found one small tree per site in a grass field. But on the way in we noticed there are lots of wooded sites, and asked to move. The "full shade" sites were amazing. Large, fire ring with grate, and nice picnic table. We fit all 4 tents on the site (mine was a little slanted though).

The park has trails to the lake that were a nice walk. We drove to the public boat launch and rented a pontoon to take on the water. It was blue skies and 85 degrees out and the water felt great. We didn't actually get to swim because there were signs everywhere saying no swimming, but we dipped our legs in. The lake is large and fun to explore in the boat.

Bathrooms were nice. the loop C bathrooms had 3 toilet stalls and 2 shower stalls (that was the womens side, not sure what the mens side had). We had 2 dogs and both neighboring sites had dogs as well. The sites were spread out enough that we were able to keep them contained.

I somehow didn't take pictures of the site, but I have pictures of the lake!
