The campground sits back in from the main road almost 2 miles. Sites vary from wooded lots to open field sites. The tent loop doesn’t have but a few site that are semi- flat so don’t be one that requires level sleeping surfaces. 

Clear creek mountain stream waters are frigid year round and makes cooling off in the summer heat an excellent activity. Lots of trails to Hike and a few in the State Forest which surrounds the park that allow mountain bikes.
