Beautiful!

Well to start from the beginning of our trip. It was a long drive since we live in the Willamette Valley. But to be honest this camping trip was so worth it. We onlyi stayed 3 nights. But next time we will stay at least a week. My husband and I love to camp. We have stayed at a few nice places that we thought wow this place is so nice and pretty. But when we came into the town of Joseph we were taken back by the town people and how nice they were. You can tell they take pride in there town. They greet you with kindness and it's not fake either. So when you drive threw the town stop and look around and talk with the locals. Well we finished our drive to the state camp ground at Wallowa Lake. Since we got there later in the evening we really couldn't see anything. So the next day we were in awe with how they take great care of the camp ground. I have not seen so many people working in a state camp ground. And the forest workers also. There camp hosts were fabulous, checking on everyone. This camp ground was extremely clean from the bathrooms and showers to the actual camp sites. You can definitely see where the money goes when you stay here. We have never seen a camp ground this taken care of before or that many people taking care of the whole park. I wish the other state parks and camp grounds would look to see how they run and take care of this place. Cause they could learn alot from them. This camp ground is for all age group of people. But the best part is when it got closer to dinner time and everyone was coming back to there camp sites. You can hear all the kids playing and having fun. And all the laughter you hear, is the best medicine for anyone. The lake was perfect in every way. If you want to see how beautiful Oregon can be then check this place out. You will not be disappointed.
