Nice Little Score!
Arrived on a Monday in mid August just driving through to check it out and decided to stay and had no problem finding a spot without reservations. There are 4 loops, A through D, each with a Group camp area, though sign said Loop C not recommended for RVs and trailers.
Paved driving throughout the campground and paved parking pads at each site which vary in size but are mostly level. Most sites are shaded with scattered sun so if you rely on solar there are some with more sun than others. Most sites are very private and nicely separated from neighbor and are very clean. Each site has picnic table and fire pit. Some sites have electrical hook up and there are water spigots throughout. There are also flush toilets and clean restrooms but no showers.
Garbage dumpsters are available but no recycling. There is no dump station at this campground.
Hiking trails to the beach. This place is quiet and the sound of the wind in the trees is relaxing. The trees nicely block the pounding wind at the beach. The volunteers are friendly and helpful.
Fires currently not permitted, but normally the host has wood for sale at $6/bundle.
Power hookup are $29. Dry camp sites are $24. Half off discount for Senior and Lifetime Access Card.
Decent cell service with ATT and Verizon but no TMobile.
