Based on the first review I reserved site 14 and it was absolutely gorgeous. The site was large with a short stairway from the road to the water. Great trees for hanging a hammock and we listened to the river all night from our tent. Site 15 looked great also and 16 17 was perfect for a group. The lower numbered sites looked nice as well but maybe a little closer together. We did the short hike around the other side of the river which was short and sweet. The next day we drove up the forest road to Gordon lakes, it took about 35 min to get up there and there was a nice trail down to the lakes where we were the only ones there. Looked like a dispersed camp site by the lower Gordon lake. We saw brown trout and salamanders and raptors. All in all great trip and would love to go back!
