We ended up camping here when Crater Lake campgrounds were full. There were several sites open. It was an easy drive to and from the national park and the time spent at the campground was beautiful in itself - our site backed up to the Rogue River and had some great downed trees and rocky banks available to sit on by the river and read, just watch the water rush by, or dip feet in. The bathrooms were nice and seemed relatively new; no showers, but there were a few spigots around and it was easy to wash hair in those. The campground had bear-proof trash cans.
