New campground with beautiful/open tent sites

There are about two trees in the entire site so don't expect much privacy. Had open sites even on a late summer friday night. There is faucet with potable water and decent pit bathrooms (no showers). Access to the John Day River is just steps away and has great areas for floating down the river (with or without a boat). Good fishing too from what I've heard. Great change of scenery from the usual deep forests of the PNW. Beautiful river and good hiking nearby.
