Not predictable
This has such potential to be a gem of a campground, right next to a very relaxing creek. Unfortunately, it has a few things going against it. Local teenagers like to use this as a hang out spot and aren’t aware of typical campground etiquette, so you get more noise and coming and going and trash than you otherwise would. Additionally, this is a very wildfire prone area AND is in the middle of logging country. As of 2022 there is no logging activity taking place at the actual campground, but heard this was a problem last year and they eventually had to close it down. I would certainly look into it for a night or two (the Umpqua area is so beautiful), but have a second choice ready in your back pocket in case this doesn’t pan out the way you want it to.
Reservations available for five sites on recreation.gov, all of which are unpaved packed dirt and medium sized sites (accommodating up to 24’ RVs or maximum of two cars).
