This is by far our favorite campground in the area. When we lived in Portland we'd come here 3-4 times a year for a long weekend to escape the city. The river is beautiful and mesmerizing, the campground is simple (we LOVE the walk-in sites), it is set back from the road, thus traffic noise is less than at some of the other campgrounds. Also less likely to have gigantic RVs and their generators run next to you, as the sites are small.
