Great Location

We had no issues finding the campground(CG). We were not aware of a site number upon arrival, nor was there any check-in info. There was an arrow pointing at the restroom billboard, which had no check-in information. We called the camp host number on the CG fees sign as you entered the CG area. He said there should have been a unit number on the confirmation email, and lo and behold, there was a line item,'Unit(s): 3' on our confirmation email, so that was our site number. When we walked around to the other side of the restroom and shower buildings, there was a check-in both with misc info plus wifi info and password on the back of the laundry/resource center building. Odd location for the check-in booth, as it is on the road exiting the park. We then went to the back-in site/unit 3 with water and electric(50/30/20 AMP). All the sites here are water and electric. It was a fairly easy back-in. We had to disconnect our 40 rig and diagonally park our F450. The water and electricity were at the back of the site, and we needed about 25 feet of water hose and an electric cord. They also had decent water pressure. There were no trees in the center side of the loop, so we had no issues getting a Starlink connection or a south-pointing satellite. We got two bars on Verizon. The price we paid does not include taxes or online registration fee. The sites for the most part are nicely spaced. We were there in late December/early January, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The CG has a nice laundry room with a book swap. There were two washers and two dryers, but one dryer was broken and the other didn't heat up very well. A wash costs$2, and drying starts at 50 cents. As the showers are$1.50, they have a change machine in the laundry building, but it only takes$1 and$5 bills. The camp host checked in with us to make sure we were doing okay and were happy with our stay. We let him know about the dryer issue and he told us he was waiting for the county to come fix both dryers. There are nice trails out to Lake Floras and the ocean. Even in the bad weather, there were daily walkers. The nearest amenities are Langlois Market on US-101, which has been featured in Only in Your State OR, head to Langlois Market, where you'll find world-famous frankfurters. What makes these dogs so special? Locals say its the house-made sweet mustard, careful preparation, and top-notch frankfurters. This small market has your basic groceries, ice, beer, wine, and the deli.
