Quaint Private Campground

We stayed here on site 21 the 2nd day they were open for the season. Very easy check in, drive right to our site and hooked up our full hookups. We faced the babbling brook and had a small 2 person cabin directly across the creek. Sites are pretty decently sized for smaller RVs and travel trailers, there were some larger RVs that pulled in a couple days later that navigated the campground very well. Very quiet and well kept place. Free wifi for use near the pavilion, owner gives you the password upon entry. We were about 150ft from the pavilion and had great service. We also have T-MOBILE and had great service the entire time. There is no dump station, so if you need that service, book a full hookups site with sewer. Owner has firewood for sale and laundry service. They also have a plethora of amenities in case you forgot things like TP,  ed sheets, extra blankets, etc. Wonderfully placed in a hollar.

Babbling Brook

We camped at this campground for Week of Rivers in July.  We had the farthest northwest field camp spot next to the babbling brook, our site did not have water or electric, and was a short walk to the bathhouse that is clean with hot showers.  The campground is located near Nantahala where there are plenty of outdoor activities including rafting and kayaking.  This is the second time we stayed at this campground and we will stay again.

Nice spot

Tent camped here in April while mountain biking at Tsali. Campground at Tsali had not opened and this was a great plan B. Camped along the creek, all the spots had a fire pit and table. Bath house was clean and in good shape. There is also a separate section with RV hook ups and small cabins / huts for rent. Helpful and friendly host, also have a good selection of basic sundries in the office. And free WiFi near the office. Would stay here again for sure.

Nice Spot

Smoky Mountain Meadows was a nice place to stay and was a good place to hang out for the weekend. I would make sure to call or check the price of camping before you get to the ground. It seemed to be a little more expensive then what was advertised online. This could have been due to a holiday weekend, but just check 👍🏻

Quiet, Easy Campground

We stayed here over a weekend in August and it was the perfect place to stay to spend the day on Lake Fontana, which was only 15 min away. The campground is clean, quiet and the host is friendly and very nice. Full hookups and picnic tables at each RV site which made for a nice easy stay, and they sell ice and firewood. Will definitely come back.

Quiet, cheap, but minimal privacy

Nice campground. Many of the sites are along a little creek and all the sites I saw had picnic tables and water (unsure if potable). It was very quiet, although probably because I went on a weeknight and there were not many people there.

There are not many trees inside of the camping area, so privacy is minimal. Lack of trees also meant lack of firewood, but it was not too bad because there were not many campers. The campground also sells firewood.

It cost around $12 (June)
