The Peaks are backpack-in only and reservations are required one day in advance.Call 1-877-722-6762 or go to ncparks.gov/new-river-state-park/home or reserveamerica.com.Sites are labeled and hiking distances are indicated on the map. The sites offer a rock fire ring, no pit toilet, and no vehicle access.
